Housed in a converted industrial building, the Community Arts Hub Gallery offers a clean, purpose-built space for solo and group exhibitions, installations and creative events. The space features white walls, polished concrete floors, and a track hanging system .
Artists hire and manage the gallery themselves, with full control over installation, opening hours and event programming.
We operate on a flat-rate model, meaning no commission is taken on sales. Tiered pricing is available to support emerging and student artists:
College students / $300 per week
Emerging artists / $350 per week
Established artists / $500 per week
Commercial / $500 per week or $200 for one night only.
Exhibition booking periods can range from 2-4 weeks, with exceptions for event bookings.

Yes, the gallery is a self-managed space. Artists handle their own install and pack-down, opening hours, installation and event logistics.
Artists are welcome to open by appointment only.
Please note: opening events must conclude by 8pm. -
All works must be fitted with D-rings and hung from the cable-based track system. As the gallery walls are cement, no drilling is permitted.

Artists manage their own sales, and the gallery does not take any commission.

Yes. If your exhibition includes workshops and classes it will be treated as a commercial booking and must be discussed in advance.
The teaching studios behind the gallery are not included in the gallery hire fee. If you would like to use these spaces, please enquire separately, as additional hire fees apply.

Plinths are not provided due to storage limitations. A projector is available but not ceiling-mounted. Artists may bring their own equipment.

The gallery is not air-conditioned. Fans are available during warmer months, and in winter we recommend dressing appropriately as the space can get cold.

A refundable bond of $200 is taken at the time of booking. A non-refundable deposit of $100 is also required to hold your booking (this will be deducted from the total hire fee). The full balance is due no later than 7 days before the hire period begins. The bond will be returned after the exhibition period, pending a check that the gallery has been left clean and undamaged.

Exhibitions: It is optional if you wish to provide your own Public liability insurance. Community Arts Hub is not responsible for loss or damage.
Events (e.g. workshops or performances): It is required you must provide your own public liability insurance.
